Samuella Kargbo was born on the 28th November, 1984 in Freetown, Sierra Leone. She is a Research officer that works at the Sierra Leone Agricultural Research Institute, Teko Livestock Research Centre in the value chain addition Department. She specializes in food processing and storage technology and holds a Bachelor of Science with honors degree in Nutrition and food technology from Njala University, Sierra Leone in 2011 and a Master’s degree in food processing and storage technology at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta Nigeria in 2016.
